Water Sampling & Analysis

The Buffalo Public Schools (BPS) is soliciting proposals from firms to provide NYS mandated sampling and laboratory testing of potable water samples collected from selected outlets at all Buffalo Public Schools. Sampling and testing is requested in order to be in compliance with 10 NYCRR Subpart 67-4 Lead Testing in School Drinking Water. Initial sampling must be completed by 12/31/2024. Sampling of remediated outlets as requested. Analytical sampling and testing must be provided by a single organization. Sampling must be done in accordance with documented guidelines. Analytical testing must be provided by a NYS Department of Health ELAP certified laboratory. The ELAP certification must include lead in potable water analysis.
