Request for Proposals

Description:

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: The Town of Reading (Schuyler County, New York) has conducted a needs assessment survey of residents currently served by private water supplies. The results of the survey indicated there appear to exist sufficient grounds to explore in greater detail the feasibility of extending public water service to certain areas of the town. A process is envisioned that will include consideration of public support and financial impacts along with engineering and known or apparent needs. The Town of Reading is hereby requesting Licensed Professional Engineers to submit proposals to prepare a Map, Plan and Report and Preliminary Engineering Report for water system improvements of suitable detail and completeness for district formation and to approach regulatory and funding agencies. For a complete information package, please contact the Town of Reading at the address below or visit the Town of Reading website at www.townofreadingny.org to review the Request For Proposals.
