RQ_PV, On-Call Emergency Contracts for Construction


Description:
This RFP is procuring services for Category 3 (Construction Support for Urban Search and Rescue), Category 4 and 5 (Debris Removal Including Marine Transportation), and Category 9 (Supervision, Management, and Administrative Services). It is DDC's intention to have these contracts available to be used on an as-needed basis. DDC is seeking to engage up to three(3) qualified firms for category 3, up to six (6) firms for category 4&5 combined and up to six (6) firms in category 9.

All qualified and interested vendors are advised to download a free electronic copy of the Request for Proposals at https://ddcrfpdocuments.nyc.gov/rfp/ beginning Friday, August 28, 2020. Additionally, the purchase of a hard copy RFP may be arranged for a fee of $35.00 per set, by contacting the person listed above. Those requiring a hard copy must provide a company check or money order made payable to “New York City Department of Design and Construction” – Cash is not accepted.

Pursuant to §3-02 (f) (4) of the Procurement Policy Board Rules, vendors that fail to respond to solicitations or notices of availability of procurement opportunities on three consecutive invitations may result in the removal of the vendor from the list. Reinstatement to the list is the sole responsibility of the vendor. A written (e-mail or letter) “No Bid/No Proposal” statement to the contact listed above shall be considered a response. Please update your vendor profile to include your most current email address by accessing City website at https://a127-pip.nyc.gov/webapp/PRDPCW/SelfService or search for the Payee Information Portal of the City of New York to access the website.  

All organizations intending to do business with the City of New York must complete a disclosure process in order to be considered for a contract. This disclosure process was formerly completed using Vendor Information Exchange System (VENDEX) paper-based forms. Beginning in summer 2017, the City of New York will move collection of vendor disclosure information online. In anticipation of awards, proposers to On-Call Emergency Contracts for Construction Work and Construction Related Services, must create online accounts in the new Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal (PASSPort) and file all disclosure information when the system becomes available. Paper submissions, including certifications of no changes to existing VENDEX packages will not be accepted in lieu of complete online filings.
