New Construction Initiatives Support Services

Description of goods to services to be bid:

RFP 3771 has been revised. 

NYSERDA is accepting Applications from firms capable of delivering energy modeling and analysis, building commissioning, advanced building facilitation and project mentorship, third-party Quality Assurance, Measurement and Verification, and Smart Building services. Approved firms will deliver these services to building owners, developers, and leaseholders. NYSERDA seeks to provide project owners with the expertise they need to achieve significant energy savings and reduced greenhouse gas emissions in the design and delivery of new construction and gut rehabilitation projects in New York State. Approved Consultants will execute two-year agreements with NYSERDA, with two (2) two-year options to renew at NYSERDA's discretion.

Summary of revisions for April 2023:

• Applications accepted continuously through June 27, 2024

1. additional possible staff credentials were added to the eligibility list
2. additional possible third party certifications demonstrating above code performance were added
3. three service categories and their related staff credentials were removed
4. service category descriptions were clarified
5. references to closed solicitations were removed
6. designated point of contact was changed

 Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

Applicant eligibility under this solicitation will be determined by the firm’s credentials and experience. At a minimum, applicants must demonstrate: 1) Evidence that a current staff member has appropriate credentials/certifications (see complete list of eligible credentials in RFP); AND
2) Experience on at least three (3) previous projects in which the applicant company has provided energy consulting services; AND
3) Evidence that the applicant company, or a current staff member, provided energy consulting services on at least one project since 2016 that achieved above-code energy performance, as demonstrated by third-party certification achievement, or State or federal energy efficiency program approval.
