Replace Turf Field and TrackDescription: The work of this single bid project includes the removal of the existing track and grass field. Construct a multipurpose artificial turf field and track, with an adjacent bleacher system, press box, and metal storage building. Provide subbase, underdrains, storm drainage system, electrical & communication, field perimeter fencing, scoreboard, shot clocks, ball netting, lighting, site utilities and site restoration including natural grass and pedestrian sidewalks. The project also includes a gut renovation to the +/-900sf existing building for restrooms, which includes roof replacement, building envelope, MEP systems, electrical service upgrade, interior wall partitions, slab on grade replacement, and finishes. Project includes hazardous materials abatement. Plans will be available after August 9, 2024 through Syracuse Blueprint (315-476-4048 & https://www.syracuseblueprintplanroom.com/ ). A project walk-through has been scheduled for August 22, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. meeting at the University Village, Village Center Multipurpose Room. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
