St. Joseph’s Church & COB Driveway Rehabilitation

 

The County of Schenectady will be accepting sealed bids for the rehabilitation of the St. Joseph’s Church & COB Parking Lot at 620 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305

 

Digital Copies of the Specifications may be obtained from BidNet Direct at www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york or by submitting a request to the Purchasing Department at purchasing@schenectadycounty.com.  Please specify if printed copies are required in your request.  You will be notified when they are ready for pickup.

 

All sealed bids must be delivered to the Schenectady County Director of Purchasing located at 620 State Street, 6th Floor, Schenectady, NY 12305. Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked “BID” annotated with St. Joseph’s Church & COB Driveway Rehab, RFB-2020-34, not later than 11:00 AM, September 22, 2020 at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Each bid must comply with the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.

 

No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof.

 

A pre-bid walkthrough/meeting will be performed at 620 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305 at 10:00 A.M September 10, 2020.

 

Woman and minority owned bidders are encouraged to submit proposals. Schenectady County is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

 

Schenectady County will make any investigation it deems necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder to perform the work. The County reserves the right to reject any bid if an investigation of the bidder fails to satisfy the county that the bidder is responsible and can carry out the obligations of the contract.

 

Schenectady County reserves the right to consider the bids for forty-five (45) days after receipt before awarding any Contract, and to waive any informality in, and to reject, any and all bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the County.  Receipt of bids by the County shall not be construed as authority to bind the County.
