Replace Exterior Doors, Health Science Education and Basic Science Buildings


Description:

The work of this single-bid contract consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for exterior door replacement including: (a) selective demolition and removals as required to facilitate replacement of existing doors; (b) providing new doors and glazing; (c) alteration and replacement of finishes as affected by the work; and (d) HVAC and electrical work for air curtain at doors.

Plans will be available after September 3, 2020 through ABC Imaging (212-490-3801 or www.abcimaging.com).  A virtual walk-through will be held on September 17, 2020 at 10 AM. Bidders will receive details for attending after obtaining the plans and specs.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs.  Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
