Broadcasting Equipment

Binghamton University intends to purchase broadcasting equipment for athletics to upgrade our existing system. Specified equipment and requirements are listed below.

A broadcast replay system such that:

The main system chassis shall be a 2U rack mount under 28" in depth with redundant single phase line-to-neutral 110V power supplies.  The system shall be capable of 12 total channels of 1080p59.94 SMPTE 424M 3G-SDI 8 bit input/output with multiple control stations, each having a dedicated control interface with multiviewer and selectable outputs.  Two control stations shall be included.  The control stations shall connect to the system over wired gigabit ethernet networking.  SMPTE 299M embedded audio shall be supported on input and output and shall be mappable across inputs.  The system shall be capable of at minimum 100 hours of storage.  Control stations shall include control surfaces but shall also be capable of control by regular USB attached touch screens.  The system shall support a locked defined delay of a live input to an output.  The minimum turn-around time from input to output shall be less than 0.5 seconds.  The system shall be capable of creating split-screen playback.  The system shall support import and export of media.  The system shall support networking of multiple systems for expanded use.  The system shall support TSL5.0 for tally. The system shall be a Riedel SimplyLive RM-R12-5x2TB with RM-R12-Xport software.

There are no additional bid documents.

SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) {a}, which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity / product or service.
