Nurse Call Systems -HILLROM

SUNY Upstate Medical University (SUNY Upstate) intends to purchase Nurse Call Systems from a contract awarded by Premier pursuant to its authority under New York State Finance Law, section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchases of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract,  A sealed bid will not be held.  If you are interested in providing a proposal for Nurse Call Systems described commodity/product and/or service, you must contact the appropriately designated Hospital contact in this advertisement within 15 business days of this Advertisement Notice.  Contacting any other individuals at SUNY Upstate in connection with this advertisement may constitute a violation of New York State Finance Law. 

Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance of the Nurse Call Systems equipment. If offering a clinical equivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting clinical documentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial.

This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law.  Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below.  Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract award to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. 

Successful contractor shall be required to submit valid and current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms. 

Successful contractor shall be required to complete and submit applicable documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, and New York State’s Tax Law Section 5-a.
