Natural Gas Supply for DOCCS Facilities

The Department of Corrections and Community Supervision - Contract Procurement Unit has issued IFB 2025-06 – Natural Gas (Firm and Interruptible Supply) (Fixed and Indexed Price) to provide a means of acquiring Natural Gas to DOCCS facilities.

Bids will only be accepted from those Bidders who have submitted an Intent to Bid packet on or before 10/7/2025 and were notified of being qualified to submit a bid by DOCCS CPU in relation to IFB 2025-06.

Award shall be made, on the sole basis of cost to the lowest responsive and responsible qualified Bidder for each Lot. Each Lot will be bid in one of three ways:

• Fixed Price, Firm Supply
• Indexed Price, Firm Supply
• Indexed Price, Interruptible Supply

It is the intent of DOCCS to make an award within one (1) business day of the bid opening date of 10/20/2025. Any updates regarding this Solicitation will be publicly posted through a Bid Update Notice as advertised via the NYS Contract Reporter.
