Pharmacy Benefit Manager Plans
Description:
Pharmacy Benefit Managers (“PBM”) are invited to submit proposals outlining their qualifications, competence and capability to provide services for the County. The purpose of this process is to choose a PBM to offer the current pharmacy benefit plan design for a period of three (3) years with two (2) additional one (1) year mutual renewals, commencing January 1, 2026, subject to the subsequent mutual agreement to the County and the selected PBM.
Currently, employee co-pays are $5.00 - Tier 1, $20.00 - Tier 2, and $40.00 - Tier 3 and Specialty. An enhanced double co-pay is in place for all maintenance medications not filled through mail order after two (2) months.
