Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service for Escalators


Description:

Baruch College of The City University of New York (“Baruch College”) seeks sealed bids pursuant to an invitation for bids (IFB) to provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment needed for a full and complete preventive maintenance, repairs, and services program for its escalators.  Interested parties should contact Baruch College’s designated contacts for more details about this opportunity. IFB packages are available upon request.


The IFB Date of Issue was July 14, 2020 and the IFB was distributed on July 20, 2020. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit was held on August 6, 2020 at 10:00am to visit areas where work is to be performed. A second mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 10am in the Administration Building at Baruch College, Room 112, 135 East 22nd Street, New York, New York, 10010 for those who did not attend the mandatory site visit on August 6, 2020. The site visit is optional for those vendors that attended the August 6, 2020 mandatory site visit. Advance RSVP for the site visit is required for security purposes. Please email the Designated Contact to inform them of the names of the attendees from your company. Vendors who do not RSVP in advance will not be permitted to enter Baruch College.


The Revised Due Date for Questions from vendors is Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2pm.
The Revised Bid Submission Due Date is Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 1pm.

The work requested in the IFB is subject to New York State prevailing wage provisions.

Any purchase that results from this advertisement shall be governed by the terms and conditions of this advertisement (including without limitation, any attached specifications and any terms and conditions attached hereto or incorporated herein by reference), the University's standard Terms and Conditions, Purchase Order and the Standard Clauses for New York State Contracts which are incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein.
