Herbicide Treatment - Aquatic

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking Requests for Quotes from contractors with a certified category 5A herbicide applicator to treat the aquatic invasive plant Hydrilla verticillata infestation along the western shore of Cayuga Lake in the Sheldrake Point (42.666680, -76.700746) and Weyers Point (42.680011, -76.721989) in Ovid, NY (Seneca County). The applicator will use the herbicide Sonar H4C (pelletized fluridone) which the Department will provide and make available for pick up in Aurora, NY.

Proposers shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE.
