Hubbs Road Multi-Use PathDescription: This project includes construction of a new multi-use path along the south side of Hubbs Road in the Town of Clifton Park, Saratoga County, NY. The work will begin at the intersection of Hubbs Road with Dutch Meadow Drive to the intersection of Hatlee Road/Main Street, where the multi-use path terminates. Sidewalk construction begins on the west side of Main Street from the Hubbs Road / Hatlee Road intersection and continues to the intersection with Mac Elroy Road and Longkill Road. Project funding in part is from the Climate Smart Communities Grant Program, Title 15 of the Environmental Protection Fund, through the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. There is an overall goal of 30% for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation, based on the current availability of qualitifed MBEs and WBEs. For the purposes of providing meaningful participation by MWBEs on the contract and achieving goals, contractors should reference the directory of NYS Certified MWBEs at https://ny.newnycontracts.com Additionally, contractors should contact the Division of Minority and Women Business Development at (518) 292-5250, (212) 803-2414, or (716) 846-8200 to discuss maximizing participation by MWBEs on the contract. Contractors must document "good faith efforts" to provide meaningful participation by MWBES as subcontractors or suppliers in the performance of this contract. This is a public works project and prevailing wages as determined by NYS Department of Labor must be paid.
