2025 Historic Preservation Conference

NYS Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking bids for a facility to host its 2025 Historic Preservation Conference during one of the following two-consecutive weekday periods:

• March 11-12, 2025, or
• March 18-19, 2025, or
• March 25-26, 2025

Bidders are not required to bid on all three blocks of dates.  However, In the event a bidder wishes to bid more than one block of dates, they may do so in a single bid submission by completing each respective tab in the Bid Form.

The conference will begin at approximately 11:00 AM on day one and adjourn at approximately 2:00 PM on day two.  Participants will begin arriving on day one at 10:00 AM and will depart on day two by 1:00 PM. 

The 2025 conference agenda has not been finalized; however, “Attachment 1 - 2023 Historic Sites Meeting Agenda” has been attached as an example of the prior years’ conference.

Location

The Capital District, also known as the Capital Region, is the metropolitan area surrounding Albany, the capital of the U.S. state of New York.  As conference attendees will be traveling statewide to attend this event, this conference must be held in New York State, within 20 miles of the Capital District.  For this RFQ, the address 625 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207 will be used to measure the acceptable driving/mileage range for hosting this event. 

Alcoholic beverages shall not be included in any purchase covered by this RFQ.
