NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) intends to establish a sole

source contract with Eastern Communications Ltd. LLC, located in Long Island City, NY, to provide the following:

SCOPE:              Maintain and Support Zetron MAX and ACOM Consoles.

BRIEFDESCRIPTION:

Port Authority has deployed Zetron MAX and ACOM radio dispatch consoles (Zetron System) at Port Authority Police Department (PAPD) commands, World Trade Center and other PANYNJ facilities.  This Zetron system will require continued annual maintenance in order to ensure uninterrupted radio communications from the PAPD Police Command Desk to the officers in the field, and from the PAPD Central Police Desk for inter-Police Department radio communications.  To ensure Zetron authorized warranty compliance and maintenance and support services of the Zetron system at PANYNJ, it is necessary to retain service from Eastern Communications Ltd. LLC.
