Former Fulton Mall Site Environmental Restoration ProjectDescription: The Record of Decision (ROD) for the Site requires the installation of a one-foot soil cover To accommodate existing / adjoining grades and surfaces, note the following: • The Site is adjoined on two sides by roadways and two sides by private property. In addition, a building is present on the northern Site interior. The soil cover system must tie into these existing surfaces / grades. The proposed grading to promote positive drainage and shed stormwater away from these important features is shown on Figure 4. • Along the boundaries, the CONTRACTOR shall scrape a minimum of six-inches of the surface soil and blend it into the interior of the Site surface prior to placing the demarcation fabric and cover soil. It is expected that a 10-foot to 15-foot swath along the Site perimeter be scraped back to the interior of the Site. Refer to Figure 3. • Along the concrete slab, the CONTRACTOR shall scrape a minimum of six-inches of the surface soil and blend it into the interior of the Site surface prior to placing the demarcation fabric and cover soil. It is expected that an approximate 5-foot to 10-foot swath around the slab will be scraped back to the interior of the Site. Refer to Figure 3. Completion of the remedy will generally require: • Removal and proper management of trees and stumps. • Decommissioning of groundwater monitoring wells. • Erosion and sediment control. • Grading modifications. • Placement of the soil cover. • Surveying of the Site to document the elevations of the modified subgrade and the depth of the final cover system. A current ALTA Survey is attached. Due Date: 07/25/2025 3:00 PMContract Term: 90 days Location: 308 Harrison Street (Site # E738039) Ad Type: General
