Minor Renovations to Holsten Pool

The State University of New York at Cortland will receive sealed bids for project number 20220035, titled Minor Renovations of Holsten Pool, until 2:00 p.m. local time on May 13, 2025 at the Facilities Planning, Design and Construction Office, Whitaker Hall room 201, 4 Pashley Drive, Cortland NY 13045, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project consists of minor renovations to the Holsten Pool, replacing mechanical equipment, associated piping, and minor facility upgrades. The estimated budget is $960,000.00.

Final date for questions and clarifications is May 6, 2025, by 11:00AM to allow for addendum response.

Substantial completion on this Contract is to be completed by August 10, 2026.

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $45.00, made payable to Plan and Print , is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable.

A non-mandatory pre-bid walk through will be held on April 30, 2025 at 11:00AM. Please meet at SUNY Cortland, Park Center, Conference Room 2133, 8 Folmer Drive, Cortland NY 13045.

Parking permits for pre-bid and bid-opening meetings should be requested no later than two days prior, by email to Kristi.Hughston@Cortland.edu. Please review the project manual campus map for parking location noted in red.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
