Campus Relocation - Renovate Swing Space


Description:

The work of this single bid project includes the renovation of designated areas within Hamilton and Galbreath Halls. Galbreath Hall is approximately 8,890 square feet of space, while Hamilton Hall is approximately 17,000 square feet. Renovation work at both locations will include the relocation and installation of campus-provided bookshelves and partitions to accommodate temporary library functions. In addition to these changes, both buildings will receive electrical upgrades, improvements to and the addition of new mechanical equipment, and new interior finishes.

At Hamilton Hall, the north end will undergo renovation that includes the construction of new partitions and ceilings. Restrooms located on the north and south sides of Hamilton Hall’s main entrance will also be upgraded to meet current building codes and ensure compliance with ADA accessibility standards.

Plans will be available after July 15, 2025, through Camelot Print & Copy Centers (518-435-9696 & https://www.camelotprintandcopy.us/ ).

A project walk-through has been scheduled for July 22, 2025, at 10:00am,, meeting at SUNY Morrisville 80 Eaton Street, Morrisville, NY 13408 - Butcher Library at Parking Lot D.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
