Removal and Replacement of Doors at NYS Parks Police Academy

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking the  removal and replacement of six steel gauge doors.

OPRHP is also looking to replace all six doors. These doors must meet the following specifications:

• Be able to house the Best Lock SFIC (Small Format Interchangeable Core) (OPRHP maintenance already has this for each door.  This is a  7 PIN core mechanism)
• Be installed with a Push Bar Exit
• Include a 16 x 34 kick plate installed on the inside of each
• Be installed with an aluminum door closer.
• Have weather stripping
• Be primed for painting

The awarded vendor must have the availability to commence work upon receipt of a Purchase Order. All doors must be installed no later than August 29, 2025.

Contractor must inform OPRHP prior to commencing work to discuss work plans and scheduling. It is recognized that weather and other variables may cause schedules to be adjusted.

Work must be performed during the hours of 7:00 AM through 6:00 PM Monday through Friday excluding State Holidays.  

Work that has begun on any door must be completed within the same day. (Door must be able to open, close and lock)
