Sealed Bids for the Main Street Pump Station Generator Replacement project for the City of Ogdensburg, NY, will be received by the City Comptroller in their office at 330 Ford Street, Ogdensburg, NY 13669 until 10:00 am (EST) on August 5, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. If mailed, the sealed bid shall be received by the City on or before the date and time as stated. Separate sealed bids will be received for the following contracts: Contract No. 1 - Electrical Contract No. 2 - Heating, Ventilating, and Plumbing Bids shall be on a lump sum basis for Contract Nos. 1 and 2. The work consists of constructing (complete with all equipment, accessories, and appurtenances) the following in accordance with the Bidding Documents heretofore prepared by Environmental Design & Research, Landscape Architecture, Engineering & Environmental Services, D.P.C.:

Bidder shall include with their bid a disclosure and/or documentation that bidder and any subcontractors are registered as required. Arrangements shall be made in advance to examine the documents at the Wastewater Treatment Plant by contacting the Chief Operator, Dave Rohe, at (315) 393-2810, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am-3:30 pm. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the City of Ogdensburg. Bid documents can be obtained from the City’s website https://ogdensburg.org/bids.aspx. Documents will be distributed electronically in Portable Document Format (PDF) only. If bidders wish to obtain printed copies of the Contract Documents, they shall coordinate this directly with their local print shop. Bidders acknowledge that they are responsible for review of all components of the Contract Documents, including all specification sections and drawings, regardless of how many drawings they print and in which format/size they are printed. Full-size Contract Drawings are on 24-inch x 36-inch paper. Bidders acknowledge they are responsible for properly scaling drawings if they are printed at any other size. Each addendum will be posted to the City’s website. It is the responsibility of each plan holder to access and download all posted addendum. The request for bidding documents shall include the Bidder’s company name, Bidder’s business and shipping address (if different), contact person(s), telephone number, email, and prime contract trade affiliation. All other questions shall be submitted in writing to Charles Prior, PE at cprior@edrdpc.com. The subject heading for all emails shall be: City of Ogdensburg, NY – Main Street Pump Station Generator Replacement No response will be given to questions received less than three days before the Bid opening date. Bidders shall review and acknowledge all Addenda on the Bid Form. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder’s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or a Bid Bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. If, upon acceptance of a Bid, a Bidder fails to enter into a Contract with the City of Ogdensburg, the bid security shall be forfeited to and become the property of the City. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 60 days after the date of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the City of Ogdensburg and conforming to the prerequisite requirements of the General Conditions on the forms included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Ogdensburg reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids. Bidders are required to certify, under penalty of perjury, that Bids have been prepared without collusion with other Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included with the Bid Form and each Bidder must sign in the space provided. A pre-bid conference will be held July 9, 2025 at 10:00 am (EST) at City of Ogdensburg City Hall, Room 8. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. A site visit to the pump stations will follow the pre-bid conference. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
