Purchase and Delivery of Surveying Equipment

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of  RTK GNSS equipment for 6 Regional offices and Central Office, as specified in Attachment I-A. This equipment is to increase efficiency due to low staffing and to increase the safety of our field staff by reducing the need for cutting vegetation as well as reducing the need for entry into dangerous portions of real property. Some regions will be receiving RTK GNSS equipment for the first time and other offices will be upgrading their existing, outdated, and unsupported equipment. This equipment is necessary for surveying existing and future state lands to allow public access, prevent trespasses, and allow for proper land management.
