IFB-FIXED PRICE DATA ACQUISITIONS OF SHARED ACCESS TO REGISTRATION AND TITLE INFORMATION

The New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law (“VTL”) Section 202(4) provides that the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may contract with a responsible bidder or bidders for the provision of specified registration and title information from DMV’s records of all vehicle registrations.

This Invitation for Bids (IFB), which is let pursuant to VTL Section 202(4) and the general authority to let revenue contracts as defined in Article 9 of the State Finance Law, is a solicitation for bids to meet the fixed prices set herein for the acquisition of shared access to registration and title information contained in vehicle registration, title, accident, and inspection record files, as well as motorcycle and boat registration & title files, and snowmobile registration files, and crash and vehicle inspection files maintained by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
