Sealed bids for the ITHACA YOUTH BUREAU FIRE ALARM UPGRADE PROJECT, located at 1 Gibbs Drive, Ithaca, New York. 14850, shall be received by Scott Andrew at the Office of the City Controller of the City of Ithaca, 108 East Green Street, Ithaca, NY 14850 until 2:00 PM, Tuesday April 30, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

This is a single-prime contract project that will consist of all work associated with the

Electrical Construction of an upgraded fire alarm system to meet current Fire and Building Codes.

There will be a pre-bid meeting at 1:30 pm on Thursday April 17, 2025, at the ITHACA YOUTH BUREAU.

The BID PACKAGE, consisting of the Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders,

BID, Agreement, Supplemental Conditions, Bond Information, Drawings, Specifications, and Addenda may be downloaded / printed from the City’s Website at: www.cityofithaca.org/bids

All questions for clarification must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Brooks Hendrix (project manager) @ bhendrix@cityofithaca.org and the Taitem Design Team at the relevant Addresses below by no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday April 22, 2025.

Bidders’ attention is directed to the Bidder’s qualifications requirement of this contract.

A completed bid form, as well as required submittals, including the following:

1. Proof of Contractor and Sub-Contractor Registration with New York State Department of Labor form PW-55;
2. Non-Collusive Bidding Certification;
3. Iran Energy Divestment Act Certification;
4. and Bidder’s Qualification Statement.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner.
