Remington Site Market Feasibility Assessment


Description:

The assessment will evaluate market conditions, identify viable mixed-use spaces. Key issues to address include the site’s current economic void, its environmental and structural condition, and the need for targeted investments to attract private developers and tenants. Opportunities include leveraging the sites historic significance, central location, and scale to create a thriving hub that enhances property values and generates sustained economic activity. Expected outcomes include a detailed feasibility report outlining recommended uses, financial projections, and strategies to secure funding and incentives. This deliverable will provide a roadmap to guide decision-making, attract investment, and maximize the site’s potential for long-term community benefit.
A map of the campus detailing the surplus parcels and buildings can be seen in Exhibit 1. The subject parcels of this procurement are listed below:
• 19-acre Primary Operations – Building 1
• 3.5-acres – Building 2
• 5.7-acres Parking Lot – Building 3
The contract is expected to take three to four months and has a not-to-exceed fee cap of $200,000.
