Contactless Fares for RTS Access

The Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority (RGRTA) is seeking Vendor for the implementation of a contactless fare payment system (pre-payment system) for RTS Access. This new system will allow customers to self-manage accounts or customer service representatives to easily manage accounts, allow for negative balances (maximum amount configurable) so as to not disrupt transportation when representatives are not available to manually assist with account management.

Funding for the services being sought under this solicitation include Federal, New York State and RGRTA funds. A DBE goal of 0% has been applied to this procurement.

Any firm appearing on the Comptroller General’s List of Ineligible Contractors is not eligible to participate. RGRTA is a tax-exempt Public Authority.
