Request for Qualifications for City of Cortland Downtown Revitalization Initiative Public Art Installations

The City of Cortland seeks qualifications from Artists and Artist teams for public sculptures to be installed on the West Side of Main Street between Groton Ave and Tompkins Street (locations are pre-determined). Winning proposals will be eligible for up to $30,000 per installation for a total award not to exceed $90,000.

The public art installations are envisioned to contribute to an engaging experience, provide interpretive opportunity, stimulate excitement and thought, and cultivate cultural identity.
