NFIA – Airside Pavement Management 2025/2026


Description:

The Work of this project provides for the furnishing of all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, and plant, and the performing of all Work in accordance with these specifications and drawings, with exception of work that is expressly and specifically not included in the project.

The project consists of one (1) contract: NFIA Airside Pavement Management 2025/2026. The project will be implemented under two (2) separate Notices to Proceed (NTP-1 and NTP-2) in two (2) contract years as set forth in the Contract Documents.

The Work provides for full and partial depth repairs of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement on Taxiway D1 and Taxiway C, including the removal and replacement of deteriorated pavement sections and restoration of joints and markings. Landside Work includes full-depth pavement repairs, concrete curb restoration, and the rehabilitation of existing utility structures and drainage inlets within the parking facilities and roadway system, including installation of self-leveling frames and pavement markings.

The Contract Documents may be examined in the 7th Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203 or on the NFTA’s Engineering Branch website at www.nftaengineering.com. Online registration is required to become a Plan Holder and obtain Contract Documents. A copy of the Contract Documents is available at no cost and may be requested from Cindy Cirbus at 716-855-7342 or fax 716- 855-7447 or downloaded from the NFTA’s Engineering/Contracting website. The Contract Documents may be picked up or sent via courier billed to the requester.


Bids will be accepted either offline (paper) or online (electronic). Offline bids should be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope to the Engineering Branch on the 1st floor of the MTC. The lower left hand corner should be marked as follows: BID NO. E-616. Online bids should be submitted in accordance with the process outlined on the NFTA’s Engineering Branch website.

Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted prior to bid opening either electronically utilizing Surety2000 at www.surety2000.com or delivered to the NFTA in an opaque sealed envelope. Details for electronic submission are provided on the NFTA’s Engineering Branch website. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid.


The Contractor shall perform not less than 40% of the work with its own forces.

A Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for  1:00PM April 22, 2025 at the Niagara Falls
International Airport, in the 2nd floor conference room in the Terminal building located at 2035 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Niagara Falls, New York 14304
