Description:

Farmingdale State College (SUNY) intends to make an award under our discretionary authority pursuant to NYS Education Law Section 355(5)(a) which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodities. A sealed bid will not be held. If you are interested in providing a proposal for the above commodities, please view the specifications attached under the 'Documents' tab and submit a proposal to the contacts listed in this advertisement by Monday, May 5, 2025 at 11a.m. EST. Questions will be accepted via email through Friday, April 18 COB. Responses will be provided no later than Wednesday, April 23 COB.

The purpose of this discretionary ad is to acquire equipment to be used in a laboratory setting at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology Department at FSC. This equipment will be used for testing, design, implementation and troubleshooting of functional circuits ranging from basic electrical circuits for the freshman level to complex systems such as power electronics and RF applications for the senior design level. Equipment will be purchased alongside the required accessories, features and capabilities to perform specific applications. Applications are based on both the current outline of the laboratory manual and proposed updates of the content to be developed by the instructor. The equipment’s technical specifications must comply with the minimum specifications, features, capabilities and performance requested in the attached document. This includes coverage, warranties, service and maintenance.

Proposals must include a detailed pricing breakdown of the equipment, software and accessories, including any associated costs such as installation, training, or warranties.
