CM SERVICES REHABILITATE EXTERIOR ENVELOPE AT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER

The State University Construction Fund is seeking statements of qualifications from firms to provide Construction Manager (CM) Agency – Services for the Rehabilitate Exterior Envelope Health Science Center project at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

The Project is for the exterior envelope rehabilitation of the Health Science Tower within the Health Science Center complex which is approximately 344,000 GSF. Constructed between 1971 and 1977, the building exterior envelope has not undergone any major rehabilitation since its construction.

The Project will consist of a full façade replacement including glazing and roof which will be replaced with a new rainscreen façade, internal structural cross bracing, core and perimeter structural column, finishes, abatement of hazardous materials, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

Submissions should emphasize the firm’s significant past experience in providing construction phase CM services for public institutions and institutional clients in a complete and expeditious manner.

Construction duration from the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion of the construction contract is approximately thirty-nine (39) months (thirty-six (36) month construction duration plus three (3) month closeout period)

The current estimated construction budget is approximately $86,292,479.

SOQs must be submitted in the format prescribed by the Fund using the link provided in the email received after registration that supplies the RFQ.  Required electronic copies of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) must be received by the due date and time specified in the RFQ.  Paper or emailed copies of SOQs will not be accepted.
