Scalp Cooling System at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center

Description:

Roswell Park is soliciting proposals from qualified manufacturers of scalp cooling systems, to make scalp cooling services available at Roswell Park facilities to patients who face Chemotherapy Induced Alopecia (CIA).

Chemotherapy Induced Alopecia (CIA) is known as one of the most psychologically distressing adverse side effects of chemotherapy.  To minimize these damaging effects, Roswell Park (RPCCC) is looking to identify the most effective and cost-efficient hair retention scalp cooling system on the market to support our patients’ psychosocial needs. This scalp cooling system will be used by Roswell Park cancer patients and supported by staff to help reduce CIA for our patients.

Roswell Park is open to considering the following business models:

  • License or placement (where the successful respondent would be granted a license to place its system at Roswell facilities, and the respondent would interact directly with the patient for billing and payment)
  • Purchase or lease (also referred to as a “buy and bill” model, where Roswell Park pays for the system and disposables, and bills the patient’s insurance)
Due Date: 05/05/2025 2:00 PM
