AFH Emergency Generation UpgradesDescription: The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number 091056 titled AFH Emergency Generation Upgrades until 2 p.m. local time on May 3, 2021 at SUNY Oneonta, Facilities Office, 322 West St., Oneonta, New York 13820, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. All proposals are to be mailed to SUNY Oneonta, Office of Facilities, John Villanti, 108 Ravine Parkway, Oneonta, New York 13820, or hand delivered to the Office of Facilities, 322 West Street, Oneonta, NY 13820. Provide a temporary generator connection tap box and cables, and GFCI receptacle outside of the Alumni Field House (AFH) and also a manual transfer switch, conduits, conductors, junction boxes, etc. in the existing Electric Room. Provide underground conduits, conductors, junction boxes as required to make connections. Provide required civil work including, topsoil, seeding, fencing, etc. as required where the new conduits installed outside building will be provided. All work on this Contract is to start after July 1, 2021. In order for your bid to be accepted, you must have purchased the bid documents from the above location. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $49.00 for printed copies or $20.00 for electronic copies, made payable to Erdman Anthony & Associates, is required. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and service disabled veteran owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The University hereby establishes an overall goal of 36% for MWBE participation, 13% for Minority-Owned business Enterprises (MBE) participation, 17% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) participation and an overall goal of 6% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business enterprises (SDVOB) participation.
