The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is seeking a qualified consultant and/or waste collection firm to safely identify, collect, remove and dispose of any obsolete pesticides, school chemicals, elemental mercury and mercury containing devices from schools or farms, and to establish a mechanism for the destruction/recycling of rigid plastic packaging that formerly held pesticides or other crop protection materials. These contracted services will target agricultural, urban and suburban areas of New York State.

Proposers shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE.
