Employee Health Benefit Brokerage & Consulting ServicesDescription: The County of Yates hereby requests proposals from qualified brokerage and consulting firms to provide employee health benefits consulting services to the County. Minority Business Enterprises and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. The County employs approximately 250 full-time employees and 10 retirees for whom the County provides insurance benefits. Due to the rising cost of employee benefits and the complexities associated with the management and administration of these benefits, the County is seeking the most qualified Broker/Consultant to assist the County in: A. Continuously conducting a comprehensive review and analysis of the County's benefits to seek cost control measures and maximize efficiencies in providing these benefits B. Competitive marketing and placement of our plans C. Being a resource during collective bargaining sessions D. Carrier negotiations to reduce insurance costs E. Administering employee benefits F. Coordinating and participating in open enrollment G. Administering and coordinating wellness initiatives H. Providing support to our employees and retirees regarding their insurance plans I. Seeking innovative programs and solutions with the County and as to how the County provides healthcare insurance to its employees and retirees J.
