Description:
- HAND REMOVAL (1 ROUND) AND CHEMICAL (FOLIAR SPRAY) TREATMENT (2 ROUNDS) OF JAPANESE KNOTWEED AT MAPPED LOCATIONS IN SHIRLEY CHISHOLM STATE PARK (SUMMER/FALL 2024 TREATMENT SEASON).
- RESTORATION SEEDING OF TREATMENT AREAS.
- SEE ATTACHED MAP AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR REFRENCE.
- DEC AQUATIC PESTICIDE PERMIT REQUIRED – CONTRACTOR SHALL PAY APPLICATION FEE AND SUPPLY RELEVANT PERMIT DATA; OPRHP WILL FILE APPLICATION WITH DEC. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL PERMIT REPORTING REQUIREMENTS.
- PROJECT ESTIMATE: $50,000-$60,000
- AN OPTIONAL PRE-BID MEETING WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, 4/16 AT 1 PM AT SHIRLEY CHISHOLM STATE PARK, FOUNTAIN SIDE OFFICE TRAILER.
- SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION DATE: 11/29/2024
- BIDS MAY BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY TO VEREL@PARKS.NY.GOV AND ARE DUE BY THE END OF THE DAY ON 5/1/24.
