Community Residence – Single Room Occupancy (CR-SRO) with Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Services for Individuals with a Serious Mental Illness and Justice Involvement

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) is pleased to announce the availability of capital and operating funding for the development of one (1) 25-unit Community Residence - Single Room Occupancy (CR-SRO) along with one (1) 68-capacity Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team in the New York City Region.  This program will serve individuals with a serious mental illness, who have current involvement with the justice system, as well as complex needs. The OMH is seeking proposals from non-profit organizations with experience providing mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness and justice involvement, which may include the operation of a housing program or an ACT team.
