InGaAs Infrared Camera


Description:

High-resolution infrared camera for technical examination of artworks, including imaging of underpaintings and underdrawings. The camera must capture wavelengths between 0.9 nm and 1.7 nm and  produce 16-bit data using a 128 x 128 pixel InGaAs area sensor. It should produce over 65,000 gray levels and resulting images should have an adjustable histogram and automated stitching. A pixel pitch of 20 um and up to 26 MP images are required. A dedicated, robust travel case must also be included.

Requirements:

  • Captures wavelengths between 0.9 and 1.7µm
  • Produces 16-bit data which provides detail in both light and dark regions
  • Has a 128 x 128 InGaAs sensor
  • >65,000 grey levels with adjustable histogram
  • Image Size – Up to 26MP user selectable horizontally and vertically: 128 x 128 to 5100 x 5100 pixels
  • Pixel pitch of 20µm
  • Exclusive watertight rigid case
