D81465 & D81468: Indefinite Quantity (IQ) Personnel Services for Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) Support of New Technology and Relay-BasedDescription: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”), acting by and through MTA Construction and Development Company (“MTA C&D”), seeks to retain the services of one or more consultant firms (each, the “Consultant”) to provide independent safety assessor (“ISA”) support services for various signaling and related technology projects on an as-needed basis for the MTA and the New York City Transit Authority (“NYCT”). Such projects may involve Communications Based Train Control (“CBTC”), Solid State Interlocking (“SSI”), Ultra-Wide Band (“UWB”), and other processor-based signaling systems. ISA support services will include the safety assessment and safety certification of train control and signaling systems. References to MTA in this Technical Scope of Services shall be interpreted broadly to include MTA and any of its subsidiary or operating agencies.
