 Purchase and Delivery of Air Quality Monitoring EquipmentDescription: New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of five (5) Trace-Level Dilution Multi-Gas Calibrators and eight (8) Trace-Level Photometric Ozone Calibrators, which is being funded under a grant issued by United States Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to the NYSDEC for the expansion and enhancement of its air monitoring activities. NYSDEC Division of Air Resources (DAR), Bureau of Air Quality Surveillance (BAQS) is purchasing air monitoring equipment to augment the existing air monitoring network. BAQS maintains a network of air monitors throughout the state and reports the data to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the public via the NYSDEC website and the USEPA Air Quality System (AQS) database. This monitoring is required by USEPA through the Clean Air Act. Air quality instrumentation must be maintained and updated to guarantee that the data generated is valid and complete. This requires quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of instruments in accordance with the NYSDEC Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) as approved by USEPA and meeting all USEPA regulations and guidelines. Offerors shall adhere to the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Guidelines Regarding Permissible Contacts During a Procurement and the Prohibition of Inappropriate Lobbying Influence.
