Hologic Mammography Imaging Equipment

SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Hologic Mammography Imaging Equipment and Related Products from a contract awarded by Vizient pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchases of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent Hologic Mammography Imaging Equipment and Related Products may, if interested, contact Virginia Frost to discuss this procurement.

Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance of the Hologic Mammography Imaging Equipment and Related Products. If offering a clinical equivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting clinical documentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendor must be authorized to sell Hologic Mammography Imaging Equipment and Related Products as listed on the Vizient contract or approved equivalent.

This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below. Contacting any other individual at Upstate in connection with this advertisement may constitute a violation of New York State Finance Law. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract award to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency.

Successful contractor shall be required to submit valid and current NYS “Workman’s” Compensation and Disability Forms.

Successful contractor shall be required to complete and submit applicable documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, and New York State’s Tax Law Section 5-a.
