Mid-Hudson Library System Office Building 3rd Floor Air Conditioning Replacement Project

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Notice is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of the MID-HUDSON LIBRARY SYSTEM that sealed bids are sought and requested for an AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT entitled "THE MID­ HUDSON LIBRARY SYSTEM OFFICE BUILDING 3^rd FLOOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT." The Proposals will be for one (1) prime contract: Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning.

Bidding Documents will be available as of Friday, June 20^th 2025: (1) at the MID-HUDSON LIBRARY SYSTEM, 103 Market Street, Poughkeepsie, New York, 12601, during the period of Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 4:00PM, (2) by email upon a confirmed receipt from MHLS of an email request to cherron@midhudson.org.     

Sealed bids submitted in duplicate will be received by the Library System Director at the Library System Headquarters, 103 Market Street, on or before Friday, July 25^th  at 1PM. 

The System is requiring Prevailing Wage Rate on this contract.

The System is requiring all Contractors submitting a bid be registered with the New York State Department of      Labor Contractor Registry.

The System is requiring a Performance Bond with the signing of a contract.

The System has waived the requirement for a Security Bid Bond or deposit.

The System has waived a Labor & Material Payment Bond.

Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the opening of bids. Any bid received after the time of the opening of bids will be rejected. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within one hundred (120) days after the opening of bids.
