Upgrade / Replace Fire Suppression SystemDescription: The work of this single bid project includes the replacement of existing clean agent fire suppression systems with new pre-action fire suppression systems at multiple building locations at the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University Campus, Brooklyn, New York. Plans will be available after April 9, 2025, through Camelot Print & Copy Centers (845-226-4153 & https://www.camelotplanroom.com/ ). A project walk-through has been scheduled for April 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., meeting at the Lobby at 450 Clarkson Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203. Special Notice to Potential Bidders: Please review the Bid and Post Bid Checklist on the Construction Opportunities page on the Fund’s website (https://www.sucf.suny.edu/) for more information on bidder’s qualifications and other requirements. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
