RFP-2684 Insurance for Chemung County Nursing Facility

Chemung County Nursing Facility is seeking proposals for insurance coverage for Professional and General Liability and Property.

This process is designed to provide for a fair and open process in awarding professional services based on qualifications in accordance with all applicable state, federal and local regulations and ordinances.

The Nursing Facility wishes to establish a strategic partnership with a qualified broker who will assist the Nursing Facility in the process of developing and administering a program that provides solutions to meet the following goals:

• Provide a comprehensive, state of the art, insurance program for the Nursing Facility at the most reasonable costs, taking advantage of the most favorable given market
• Provide aggressive loss control services as well as administrative assistance, as requested, to the Nursing Facility, to ensure the Nursing Facility is in the best financial position possible
• Working as an advocate for the Nursing Facility in the processing and settling of claims
• Maximize financial recoveries in the event of losses
