Heavy Equipment Rental


Description:

The New York State (“NYS”) Office of General Services (“OGS”), Procurement Services seeks to establish new Back-Drop contracts for the rental of Heavy Equipment, as defined in the Contract Scope and Contracts shall be for the Contractor’s complete Product Line.

  1. Product Line shall mean a group of related Heavy Equipment offered for Rental by a single company in their usual course of business.
  2. Heavy Equipment shall refer to equipment which is intended for heavy work such as earthmoving, construction, lifting containers or materials, drilling holes in earth or rock, concrete or paving application or street sweeping (e.g., aerial lifts, large towable air compressors, generators and light towers, concrete saws, earth compactors and rollers, backhoes, motor graders, skid-steer loaders, bulldozers, wheel loaders, trenchers, utility tractors, excavators, forklifts, sweepers and utility vehicles), and other related attachments and equipment.
  3. Purchase of Heavy Equipment is not permitted under the resultant Contracts. The Contracts are intended for short term Rental (i.e., Daily, Weekly or Monthly). Long term leasing (e.g., six month or more Rental Period), is not permitted under the Contracts.

Solicitation Update Instructions:

Submission of responses by a vendor to a solicitation that does not account for updated information may result in their bid/offer being deemed non-responsive. Vendors are strongly encouraged to review the advertised solicitation in full prior to submitting a bid to ensure inclusion of any updated information.

 Additionally, if the vendor does not opt-in to receive notification updates regarding a particular solicitation, they will not receive e-mail notifications regarding updates, including e-mail notifications regarding the posting of the question-and-answer documents and updates to solicitation documents. To receive email notifications regarding updates to the content or status of a particular solicitation, the vendor must choose the option “bookmark the ad” located in the upper right-hand side of the ad, then return to their account, view their list of bookmarked ads, and then select the “send me notification updates” option listed to the right of the ad.”
