Lake Taghkanic Fencing


Description:

NYS OPRHP is seeking best and final quotes for the purchase of 6ft chain link fencing and installation of fencing around two separate structures located at Reesa Farm-Lake, Taconic State Park in Ancram, NY.

House and barn will each be separately fenced per the following specifications:

  • Total square feet to fence (including both structures) is approximately 496 linear ft.
  • House fence is 40x80 (240 linear feet), barn is 72x56 (256 linear ft).
  • Material – galvanized, 9 ga, 2” mesh
  • Height of fence 6ft – no top extension
  • Bottom rail – Qty 60 (2”)
  • Center rail – Qty 60 (2”)
  • Top rail – Qty 60 (2”)
  • Terminal Posts – Qty 10 (2/38”- 3”)
  • Line Posts – Qty 50 (2” – 2 3/8”)
  • Frame Ref – H40 Commercial
  • Not to exceed 8ft spacing between posts
  • Cement all terminal posts & gate posts
  • Gates (2) – 1 for each structure, double swing gates, total opening no less than 8ft wide with standard fittings/hardware.
