Insurance Linked Securities

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: First Mutual Transportation Assurance Company (“FMTAC”), a New York State-licensed captive insurance subsidiary of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”), is soliciting proposals for the purpose of qualifying and/or retaining firms to provide services in connection with potential future capital markets-based Insurance-Linked Securities (“ILS”) transactions sponsored by FMTAC.  FMTAC expects to retain a single firm to serve as its Risk Financial Advisor for up to a five-year period.  FMTAC also expects to qualify a number of firms in each of the following disciplines:  ILS Legal Counsel, ILS Initial Purchaser/Structuring Agent, ILS Risk Modeler.
