NOTICE TO BIDDERS                                              

 

State University of New York at Oswego will receive electronic secured bids via the e-builder platform for Project No. 100303 Titled: Shineman Center Generator Replacement until 2:00PM local time on Thursday July 17, 2025 at 2:00pm

 Proposals are to be submitted electronically via e-builder ( https://gateway.app.e-builder.net/app/bidders/landing?accountid=c1007a87-19e9-483f-98b2-599731ba4506&projectid=570077f8-4b51-4a0b-b58c-d173fa2ab89f&bidpackageid=36db6f70-1d01-4665-bf0f-c99bcc4ab69c ). Proposals will be opened and read aloud via a conference call, with the bid results to be posted online thereafter.  The original bid package is to be mailed to SUNY Oswego, Purchasing Department, 402 Culkin Hall, Oswego, NY 13126. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 53 days after the Notice to Proceed. Scope of Work:

 - Removal of existing generator and it's accessories.

- Installation of Owner furnished generator and day tank. This includes modifications to the exhaust system, exterior louver system and BMS.

 

Prior to submitting a bid vendors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor

Vendors must submit their certificate of registration at the time the bid is made.

 

 

A walkthrough been scheduled for Wednesday July 2, 2025 at 10:00am to fully understand the parameters and constraints which affect the preparation of the bid for the same.  Interested parties should meet at the Shineman Center loading dock on the North side of the building.

 

 

Contractors should submit all questions no later than five (5) business days after the virtual Q&A. All questions are to be submitted in writing and can be e-mailed to Richard Merritt at richard.merritt@oswego.edu.

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents, deposits less than $50.00 are non?refundable  Accordingly, a non-refundable deposit check in the amount of $40.00 for Documents, made payable to Plan and Print Systems is required. Requestors are responsible for shipping charges.  All plan holders who receive the Contract Documents from Plan and Print Systems will receive Addenda notification by e-mail.

 

In compliance with Section 139 of the State Finance Law, all questions pertaining to this solicitation during the restricted period shall be made formally through email to the designated staff. Designated staff for the solicitation is:

Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. The original bid package is to be mailed to the campus after the electronic version is submitted. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.  It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women?owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.  The Campus MWBE Goals are 17% Minority and 13% Women. The Campus SDVOB goals are 6%.

 

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
