Procurement of Chain-link fence around two buildings

Description:

Nissequogue River State Park is looking to procure chain-link fence around two buildings (map attached).

Location #1 – Buildings 136-137

Fabricate and install 8’ tall chain link fence around the perimeter of buildings #136 and #137.  Design and installation must meet or exceed the minimum commercial standards for material quality and size. As a general guideline, all materials should be galvanized material, with 2”x2” mesh, 9 gauge for the fabric.  Fence to be installed minimum of 20’ from perimeter of buildings, with 2.5” line posts posts/3” terminal posts or larger as per industry standard, driven into native soil where available (no poured concrete footings, except where needed).  Where native soil is unavailable (i.e., pavement locations), saw cutting or core drilling for each post, with backfill of concrete is to be used (including all gate areas, regardless of surface).  Post spacing to be appropriate as per industry standard.  Approximate perimeter of fencing is 1500’+ with 20’ perimeter.  Three gates, one 12’ wide vehicle service double gate, one 6’ wide double gate, and one 3’ wide gate installed as per diagram.  Top tension wire (8 gauge) for all but gated areas.  Gated areas to include 3” posts or larger as per industry standard.

Location #2 – Building 41

Fabricate and install 8’ tall chain link fence around the perimeter of a section of the building, with one 12’ wide service gate. The same specifications described above for Location #1 apply for materials, installation, and perimeter distance from building.  Approximate perimeter of fencing is 300’+.
